Melissa Potter
Branch Leader – Sacred Woman Collective Portland

My journey to lead the Sacred Woman Collective’s Portland branch began in the depths of my own transformation. After my long-term relationship ended, I had to heal from patterns of co-dependency and people-pleasing to rediscover my inner light. Modalities of sound therapy, meditation, breathwork, plant medicine, and journaling helped me find my way back to myself and oneness. These practices guided me through shadows into growth and empowerment.
For over two decades, I’ve helped others in their professional journeys as a recruiting leader. When I lost my job unexpectedly in early 2024, I became a Certified Travel Advisor – combining my love for helping others, travel, and wellness. My own experiences with solo travel and attending group retreats have shown me healing can happen when we step away to step inward.
Now, I feel called to create these experiences and spaces for others – filled with safety, love, compassion, and belonging where everyone matters. I can’t wait to share space with you and witness the magic that happens when we come together in community.
“Melissa is a beautiful addition to our SWC family – she has a kind, loving way about her, she is passionate about holding space for others, and she’s in a community where this work will absolutely resonate” Staci Levine
The breathwork I plan to share is Quantum Neural Breathwork, a powerful practice that can facilitate deep emotional release and expanded states of consciousness. However, it is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions:
- Pregnancy
- Cardiovascular issues (including high or low blood pressure)
- Epilepsy or history of seizures
- Severe mental health conditions (such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder)
- Recent major surgeries or injuries
